Nothing new. Hypersonic missiles were developed as a means to counter modern missile defense systems. Naturally countries would soon try to figure out ways to intercept them as well. The problem is in an actual war scenario so many variables will be thrown into the mix making interception extremely difficult if not next to impossible (at least to hit them all). Besides, all China and Russia and will do is make their weapons even more difficult to detect and counter.

I believe that as much as the claim the Patriot missile the Russians hit only sustained minor damage.

That is confidential data.
Rumor has it, it costs anywhere between $500K to $1M. But no one really knows.

Kalibr is said to be 300-500 000 dollar a piece
X-555 (Kha 555) is said to be $4M.

Kinzhals are not used to "hit a building". It's a bunker buster. At the end of its trajectory, it assumes perfectly vertical dissent onto its target at the full hypersonic speed. That itself allows it to penetrate DEEP into the ground, even through layers of concrete and only THEN the active warhead explodes.

I have little doubt, someone eventually Will find a way to bring them down. I have no doubt either that, by then, Russians will come up with something different and even less possible to destroy. So far, they proved themselves to be VERY creative with weapons. VERY.

Hypersonic missiles cost millions each. So far, they have proven to be a very expensive way to hit a building.

Russia's economic assets are being used up by this war. The ruble is in steep decline against every sort of stable currency - Dollar, Euro or Chinese Yuan. LINK. All of them show prices to Russia have increased 50-60% in the last year. So even if black market material can be found it would be nearly impossibly expensive.
Russia does not have the ability to produce all the components for such missiles.
It's pretty expensive to hit a single target by firing 2 dozen or more patriot missiles at it. Each is what, 4 mil?
