Yes but after the fact. Who actually approves and orders these books to begin with ?

If these books are pornographic (in pic or words) and made available to minors, can they sue whoever is responsible in the district for criminal action?

I too have been waiting for the mama bears to sink their teeth into the people propagandizing and bastardizing our nation's children. But then they elected Biden, so what ever.
It's hard.

I told you all what was going on in my RED district. We have an activist teacher pushing stuff and they won't do anything about it. I am not done yet. Just trying to protect my kid.

So id the book in the schools or is this a kink for her? There is no context in the video.
If i was in a school what state and city or school district was it? Again no context in the video.
Was the book banned from the school or is it still on the shelf? If its banned then why keep reading it over and over? Again no context.

I have seen videos like this from Florida school districts and it does not seem to matter what party is in charge or where the district is located. Almost feels like these districts or states bought a all-in-one bundle of LGBTQ books and some of those bundles included books like this one. Perhaps a vendor listed it as appropriate but it's clear it is not. Not sure as most states or schools districts do not discuss the process of buying books outside of saying it was from an approved vendor or list provided by the state.
I don't think you know of what you speak. There is a committee that choose the books for schools. If a parent complains, the book goes up for review. These books are parental consent only, but they ARE in the districts. Don't let anyone kid you. And we are not trying to ban To Kill a Mockingbird.

When I found out books in our district, I called up the school board member and candidate and read an outrageous passage to her. She tried to say these books were for AP credit and did I want to deny kids AP credit? You see, it became clear to me that she was used to dealing with stupid people by her answers. I told her a copy of Gender ***** was in our high school and she gave me some BS story about it being a teacher's desk and not in the media center. So not only are the books there (and still there, long story), they lie about it as a matter of course.

Yes it's illegal for kids to obtain pornographic material.
But this is public school..government funded and it sure looks like they are allowing it.

Here's another story...11 year old reads a library book about how boys got drunk and gave each other blow jobs. And the librarian asked the kid if he wanted the graphic version no less !

Oh it's high school. Might as well stock the library with porn movies and Hustler magazines, right? I'm sorry but this is reprehensible as is your defense of it. Porn is not sex ed.

Some kids do a lot of things. Should the school roll out a keg every day at lunch? Put bongs on the tables?
Agree. Out of all the dumb arguments to keep grooming in schools, this takes the cake.

In Fl, they said only had one media Person per 2/3 schools. So go figure who is the book police with thousands of books in several school libraries. It’s the same with counselors - one takes care of 2/3 schools. That’s your answer.

As a matter of fact, given what's apparently been going on for quite a while, I think you've convinced me to take back what I said about sex ed being taught in school. Leave it up to the parents. I know some people aren't great parents, but I'd rather roll the dice with them than some of the government schools these days. No outside doctrination, and perversion, happening.
I got to that point. My friend was asking me if she should opt her kids out of sex ed. I would have said no 2 years ago. But now that I know what's in schools, not only do I remember her opting her kids out, I recommend taking kids out of public k-12 period. If my child didn't have one more year left and was the slightest bit malleable, I would take her out, too.
