Joe and Hunter Biden are an inspiration for families across America. If someone as cognitively diminished and demented as Joe Biden can become president, then we all can! And if a crackhead like Hunter Biden can secure a lucrative 50K a month job for a large foreign energy company, than think of what the rest of our nation's young people can achieve! KJP said (noted in another thread) that Biden would not pardon Hunter. I still have a feeling that, when push comes to shove, he will. He won't let his son go to jail when he has the power to keep that from happening. Doing so would kill his political career (but his age and having reached the pinnacle of politics makes that a moot point), and and probably his legacy (that politicians find to be very important) but I think he'd do it anyway.
He has to pardon Hunter in order to prevent him from flipping.
It's no longer just a matter of a few simple felonies.
The cover-up (undeclared offshore accounts, fraudulent tax filings, money laundering, elaborate conspiracies involving many people, etc.) will add decades to their respective sentences.
That's why it was so important to have blanket immunity baked into the Hunter probation deal.
With that gone, they couldn't possibly be more ****ed.
I expect they'll try to find a way to get a slightly modified version of this deal approved, possibly with a new judge and/or with Xoe threatening a pardon if the deal is tossed out again.
The lapdog press will have time to sell the low-information types on the idea that the judge was a MAGA partisan hack appointed by Trump and she only rejected the deal because she wanted to take the attention off Trump's many felonies.
