Imagine if those youth put a quarter of that energy and passion into fighting crime and blight in their neighborhoods and staying in school and studying hard.

Gamers, uh oh. Many gaming addicts have been known to use stimulants and go on marathon sessions for a day or two. I've had problem neighbors/gamers worse than hard core drug addicts I've lived next to.
Not only did they have real fights amongst themselves and make excessive noise to where police were called there are also all sorts of drug smells including multiple pot smells along with things like formaldehyde. These were adults and was like the worst case of AADD ever.

Were they there for the game to play or sell?
They were there because a popular social media influencer told his fans he was giving away free playstations.
I wouldn't categorize them as strictly 'gamers'. That label isn't like it used to be in the 80's.
Nowadays, 'gaming' is just a part of the life of these younguns. Goes hand in hand with social media due to streaming. The influencer is also a rapper to so there is crossover. The people there were probably social gamers. Just something to do. And they used this as an excise to go wild'in.
Yet again, da 13% doin'wat dey do. Free stuff!
America is doomed unless the rule of law is reinstated.
I know you don't like the crime going on. I don't like it either. However, comments like this only serve to turn potential Black allies (people who want the crime to end too) against you. Who's going to want to have any discussion about crime and the solutions to lowering crime with comments like this?
