I think it's hilarious how liberals claim this strain the relationship between United States and Mexico.

A vast majority of America's problems can be traced to Mexico.

A vast majority of America's problems are because it borders Mexico which is a country used for trafficking and cartel purposes only.

Amazing the war that Mexico has perpetuated against the United States for many years.

There would be very little use of illicit substances in the United States, if this country weren't next to country of cartels that borders this country to the south.

The President of Mexico and terrible people who vote for the Mexican politicians they have now has allowed an American genocide to happen for many years.

Yes, let's declare war on Mexico. What a great idea.

The good news is DeSantis is circling the drain, so his stupid ideas will be flushed with him.

Since you are for the party that supports open borders, what is your idea for a solution?

Why are the Democrats so pro-cartel?

Donald Trump has the same positon on foreign policy in regards to Mexico.

Republicans are anti-cartel and anti-trafficking, unlike the Democrats which are in bed with the cartels.

Starting another war. What a great idea! It’s not like that has been tried multiple times already in other countries, and has failed miserably every single time.

If you support open borders, then you don't seek to find a solution because there isn't a problem.

The majority of the problem is the demand at home. There are too few resources to treat the addicted.

Going to war is a great campaign theme, but just like with the Iraq/Afgan wars, most Americans will not volunteer and those that do serve will go over and over again. For every man and woman 35 and under, the army enlistment age, who wants this, let them enlist before advocating for this.

There are thousands of rehab facilities all over the country from tiny towns to big cities. My best friend is a drug abuse counselor. Lack of rehab facilities isn't a real issue. All anyone needs to do is want to enter a facility so that part of the solution is already in place. Obviously invading Mexico isn't going to be a solution though.

The GOP is as much responsible for the border issue as the democrats. Under Bush II, the tea party shot down his reforms; the Senate bipartisan plan was killed by Speaker Ryan who would not even let it go to a House committee for a hearing and Trump was on the cusp of a plan until Fox News criticized it.

If the GOP has a plan, let them put it forward in the House; they have no plan.
