Whilst US chains Carl's Jr and Chick Fil A have announced they will be opening new UK outlets, whilst Firehouse Subs is also outlets in Europe, whilst Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters, which recently opened outlets in Northern Ireland.

P.F. Chang's has a new franchise operate and is also looking to expand, whilst Panda Express is also now offering Franchises in the UK.
I forgot Slim Chickens, which also has a number of outlets across the UK and there are also numerous chains from other countries, as well as home grown chains.

Another US chain operating in the UK is Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, which operates mainly in the London area and which is expensive.

US Military bases also have some chains such as Charleys Philly Steaks at the US base at Lakenheath.

^^

Insomnia Cookies just opened in the UK, so that's another one to add to the list.

Whilst even some UK were started by Americans, for instance Tortilla Mexican Grill (branded as Tortilla) is an award winning California-style Mexican burritos and taco chain with branches throughout the UK and was founded by Americans Brandon and Jennifer Stephens.

Whilst UK chains sometimes sell US chains products, an example being British desert chain Creams selling products made by the American Cheesecake Factory, whilst companies such as US chain Panera Bread
and UK chain Pret A Manger are owned by the same parent company JAB and there are numerous other examples.

Yes! Truly Bizarre. U.S retail is a much more dominating force in Canada than Canadian retail is in the U.S. That is true in many countries - maybe not to the same extent as Canada but the still - U.S companies as a whole benefit from this their economic size and economies of scale.

I'm cool with it. Walmart as example is a great company imo - people don't always like it (even though they tend to shop there lol), but they do sell a lot of stuff you need at good prices in Canada. I don't care which country owns a company - I reward companies that sell the best product for the best price.

My favourite pizzeria chain is a Canadian. They sell the best pizza for a good price. I could go to an American chain but they suck in comparison.
