Asylum is supposed to be for people who are fleeing for their lives. AND you're supposed to travel to the nearest country. They did not need to come all the way to America to homeschool their kids. That's some bull****.
Even claiming you are fleeing for your life due to violence and crime is not a viable reason to claim asylum here.
They have seven kids, two were born here. They’ve been here 15 years with no real legal status. HSLDA has been assisting them with it forever and they’ve been in limbo till now.
I didn't see that in the article. Did I miss it? Those born here are citizens of Germany then not the U.S. according to the wording of the 14th Amendment. The parents nor their kids have a legal right to be here. The parents did not have a viable asylum claim either.
For me, it’s the hypocrisy and inconsistency of the govt in allowing “migrants” in without vetting them. I could agree that this isn’t a real asylum claim but two kids were born here so what now? How is it fair to deport them but not the dreamers?
You're another one that doesn't understand the difference between an anchor baby and a Dreamer. An anchor baby is one born on our soil to illegal parents and a Dreamer is one born on their parents soil but brought here illegally. Either way, IMO both should be deported. Anchor babies are not birthright citizens they have merely been deemed so by a PC policy but not based on the Constitution.
And just think it took this long when there wasn't a huge surge of Asylum seekers entering the Country.
Yet they were given "Temporary" Asylum until their hearing, and before they were denied they were productive members of society for 15 years.
Just imagine how many current Asylum seekers there could be who have not provided a legitimate reason. Yet are being given Shelter, Food, Education, Cell Phones, and many Government Services that US Citizens are denied until their hearing at some point in the future.
It doesn't matter if they were productive members of our society. They didn't have a valid asylum claim!
Homeschooled kids on average are far more intelligent compared to the public school indoctrinated kids. Of course the Brandon Administration and all of their branches of government need to stamp out this type of thing. It's a threat to their ideal "democracy".
I guess they’ve had time to become citizens by now, but have not. We need them to go, to make room for the illegals.
They are illegals.
