Actually looking at the number of posts since Johnson came up I don't think most care. Nothing seems to really change except the name of the person, what they support is exactly the same as the last speaker.

Pubs just voted to end the current mess. It doesn't fix the basic problem which is that the Republican party is splitting into two ideologically incompatible camps.
Well they do seem to be pretty happy with Johnson, but the rule that it just takes one member bring up a motion to vacate still exists
I'd like to know if the kept this rule in place also. If they did he will have to walk a fine line just like McCarthy and I bet his fate will be the same as McCarthy.
No Republican gets elected in that state without Klan backing. Yes, it was Democrats at one time but that was long ago.
