Well I just saw a interview with one of the congress critters and he said that the rule that one person can submit to vacate is still in place. Johnson is under the rules that got McCarthy ousted. We will see if he can walk a thin line better than McCarthy. His job is gonna be even more difficult since the Freedom Caucus is a minority within the party.

That is probably acid reflux. They have medicine for that.
Conservatism is not MAGA and you all ought to know better.

Over time, political opinion and positions move toward the center but that is not where MAGA is. MAGA is extreme right. The center also moves slowly to the left over time -- baby steps, perhaps, but still in that direction.

The Democrats realize and recognize that change is inevitable and make an effort to manage it. They may even make an effort to harness and benefit from it. Conservatives generally feel change is bad and want to block it at all costs. That is a doomed position to be in.

MAGA (beyond Trump) would prefer an unconstitutional and more totalitarian and theocratic model with government interference in personal freedoms, behaviors, and decisions and in control of free access to information and education. That would be an abandonment of our basic values and principles on government and civil rights.

New head clown, same circus......
I revel in Liberals displeasure...makes my day. I smell fear coming from the left, & rightfuly so.

Speaker Johnson has priorities, and here's one of them...prove to every Americans that Joe Biden's a greedy corrupt influence peddler:

Its time to put the 29,000 Joe Biden emails about Hunters biz dealings, and the $200k ck he took from his Brother into the news cycle. If it was a loan repayment, were are the loan documents? There are none!

Small groups can obtain enough power to run the show.

Only a mere 22% of Americans call themselves Liberals, but look who has been in charge for the past 3 yrs...that tiny 22%.

Now the shoe is on the other foot...a small group of conservatives are large and in charge.

Not only will the conservative Freedom Caucus control the House, they'll also assert their will over the Senate.

The Freedom Caucus is now in control of the House. The House keeps growing more and more conservative.

Conservatives are becoming more assertive as their numbers grow. RINO's are becoming extinct.

Speaker Johnson is a strong supporter of the Biden Impeachment hearings, which now have full & immediate subpoena power. The evidence has piled up, & now Speaker Johnson will unleash it...29,000 Joe Biden emails about Hunter's dealings, & James Biden's $200k check to pay Joe for giving a foreign company a gov't contract...plus the bank records, Hunters laptop, & the whistleblowers testimony.

You guys are funny. Liberals are pretty happy. Just one more step into further implosion by the circus caucus. If you think any Democrat is shocked or surprised by this turn of events, you're in some sort of dream world. No Democrat ever thought any person they might have wanted would be speaker (and not sure who that would be). If they had any of the choices as a preference, they could have easily made it happen. I really believe the House Dems are city back and enjoying the spectacle.

The Republican Party is on a death march destined to go off a cliff. The election of Johnson as speaker was just one more step in that journey.

Conservatism is rising, and Liberalism is running for the exits.
Oh Trump will surely have some type of anchor
around his leg next year this time. tape:

Yup. Won’t be long before we can go door to door, round them up and put them in camps.
