Ever seen Mad Max? That's one possible scenario.

Any situation that results in the loss of representative government and a return to feudalism could easily put women back into their traditional roles.

How would they refuse?

No man who is fighting other men to keep his piece of the pie is going to voluntarily relinquish real power to someone who hasn't earned it. That only works is modern societies where there's so much wealth and power available that spreading some around doesn't hurt anyone.

About time the younger generation was elected. It’s diversity because they aren’t white old men.

Odd, not a single poster said anything of the kind
I would be more concerned that they are Leftist Idealist like the Squad, focusing on defunding their police, creating shooting galleries as London Breed did, or Seattle and their Chaz, Portland and there Antifa cultivating Progressives.

And how is an all-female leftist city council that much better than mostly white male council in rural counties, with only the token minority member who "walked away" plus the token woman who's a fervent fan of Moms For Liberty?

In the days of all white male council they had different ideas and values. These dolts all have the same exact values.

A certain plan for corruption and failure.
By the way, that picture of all of them wasa photo shoot (taken by MPR or MN Public Radio).

Realize you are talking from both sides of your mouth. "What they look like means nothing?". Later, you talk about the diverse all-white male council members (which is an oxymoron). Yeah, what they look like does matter! The members are Hmong, Pakistani, Indian (national), black (x2), and Korean. And the photos easily prove it. Their (liberal) background is "diverse" including a civil engineer, social worker, teacher, etc. And what they experienced growing up also matters to their diverse backgrounds.

You are hung up with them all being female 1st and fueled by your hate for their liberal ideology. And the only reason why you started the thread is because they are all women and none of them are white. A 0.0% chance you would have posted if YOU were a woman or YOU were anything other than white. And we all know that.

Listen. These are NOT my visions. Read about one of the grandiose council members' vision here https://www.cheniquajohnson.com/vision Wow! Hence, I would never want to live in St. Paul. I live on a lake in Northern MN which has mostly all Republican representatives. And even the Democrats are central leaning. i.e. rational.
