Few innocents will be killed. When their children have Mein Kampf in their bedrooms, that is not Beaver Cleaver being killed.
It is a future 10-7 terrorist in training.
Plus, they elected Hamas.
I dunno about all that mein Kampf stuff, but
No doubt the kids are being schooled in the ways of hate, revenge, and warfare.
Even if they weren't "of age" to vote back in 2006, the people conducting the Oct 7th massacre weren't all like 50-60 year olds,..lol. Those Are the kids being raised post election.
That said, I can't imagine they can do much else with Hamas looming over them. Something tells me freedom of speech isn't in their handbook.
There isn't much we can do short of More Occupation and Mind control re-education, suppression of religion. At least that is what it will look like. It won't look good. Just gotta be ready to deal with them when they decide to go Bin Laden and take hostages.
Except for you left out the part about the new radical Islamic group that will rise out of the ashes of Hamas and start this stuff up again in a few years.
Fair point. I guess there is some truth that is better to deal with devil you know, than something you don’t know. Tough situation to be in.
I would hope everyone would agree that when innocent people are killed under any circumstances, that is a tragic and horrific event. And those innocent Palestinians in Gaza who have been killed and injured, and their families absolutely deserve our sympathies. Unfortunately, Hamas has intentionally put innocent people at risk as they hide themselves in areas that are occupied by civilians. I take Hamas at their word when they say their intention is to destroy Israel and kill every living Jew. As such, the best way to reduce the number of deaths of innocents is to eliminate Hamas as quickly as possible. Slowing or stopping the military action against them will only allow them to regroup, reorganize, and plan other terrorist attacks which will only invite further retaliation by Israel and, in turn, more civilian deaths. Sadly, there will be more innocent deaths if Israel continues its current military actions, but destroying Hamas now will ultimately save Palestinian lives in the long run. Peace cannot always be measured in the immediacy of military actions.

I like that statement. Lot of wisdom in it.
Dropping an atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki could hardly be considered as "peaceful", yet the deaths that resulted likely saved a million or more lives from future combat.
just as the states staying with our USA sacrificed hundreds of thousand of lives during our Civil War.
It is THEIR responsibility.
It's our responsibility to call out people who refuse to act like human beings. The Hamas supporters in America are remarkably hateful idiots who think blocking bridges and disrupting Christmas tree lightings will somehow win people over to their barbaric cause. I haven't seen many Muslims calling them out, so it's up to us to stand up for civilization, and it's up to Israel to destroy Hamas.
