Really ? And people seem to be defending these Presidents.

It's the 1930's Germany come back alive. Those people didn't bat an eye over genocide of the Jews.
1930s US also sadly. Father Coughlin, FDR waving bye bye to St. Louis so 900 Jews would be killed, Henry Ford (rabid anti Semite), Lindbergh.

There has been violence in the protests that were against conservative white speakers at events on the California campuses more than once.

One dipstick was a professor that beat a person with a sock full of batteries.
It took several weeks for his arrest to happen because he was being protected by the extreme liberal system.

I am hoping the 100 million donation pulled is just the beginning.

It's easier to pull $100 billion than to get that kind to pull their heads out of their asses.

And there has been violence against liberal professors who sponsored debates that included conservatives.

And there have been more professors fired for not being politically correct than there were in the 50s during the Red Scare. (there's another thread that mentions a book with lots of data on cancel culture). Its gotten pretty bad.

Well it’s been proven that storm troopers will turn on their own family so this is not surprising.
What is surprising is that we are repeating history (and not in a good way) and seem to be getting closer and closer to W111.

Not true. The pulled donation is, no doubt, why they told her to resign. Money talks.

I think that's why she was asked to resign. The faculties at these universities mostly support Hamas over Israel.

It doesn't seem like peace will ever b remotely possible in the Middle East. I don't understand why the Jews just don't give up and leave.

I'm pretty sure that guy ended up being acquitted too. Or got some ridiculously light slap on the wrist.
