Wasn't there a survey last year or thereabouts saying that MOST young people don't know what the term "The Holocaust" means?
So I can't really reconcile these two studies. I didn't believe the first one, and I don't believe this one.
It would be good, if at the beginning of this survey, the person answering the questions should have to write a short paragraph describing what The Holocaust means. Time frame, approx, how many killed, what countries were involved, name a prison camp, etc.
And THEN you can opine on whether you believe it or not.
I guess because my generation actually talked to survivors bearing Nazi serial number tattoos and brands and WWII veterans were in their 50s, my 6th grade teacher being in a segregated battalion and was a short term POW in the Philippines we didn't have to depend on history teachers to tell us.
We also had historical fiction movies rotate onto syndicated TV on a regular basis that thoroughly covered the most significant events of our parents lifetime.

Otherwise, it's just meaningless jabber.
K-12 is doing a bad job then because WWII is certainly taught in the schools along with the Holocaust.
This is troubling. What is happening to America? People that don't believe in the Holocaust and even more that don't believe that far more of their fellow Americans voted for Joe Biden over Donald Trump. Increasing numbers of people seem to have lost their ability to determine and or accept the truth.
Are people mad at the Jews because they got some big prize out of it? They are jealous of some perceived 'guilt' status they held and want to be higher than them on the oppressed totem pole?
How does the Holocaust 'not happening' ( which I am still unclear what they really mean by that) benefit the deniers?
What is the goal of convincing the world it was a lie?
Will Jews be like,..ok,..ya got me,..here is all the wealth I accumulated and poof, disappear back to their dimension?

It's done to try to weaken support for Israel or as a stepping stone to then introduce more anti-jewish tropes.
Basically, consider who hates jews and then ask yourself what their motivations\goals are.

Precisely.
I'm assuming it isn't 100% overlap with anti-semitism/Holocaust deniers, but I'm quite certain there is far more common area than not in that particular Venn diagram.
The issue is not anti-semitism on the left its the denial that it exists on the right. Your examples of Sharpton, his attendance is no surprise seeing the prominence of her father in the church as well as her participation in it. I don't ever recall him being tied to anti-semitism although Farrakhan does get mentioned often.
I'm pointing to the group of people on stage with Farrakhan which included sharpton, clinton and Jackson.
Lots of pictures of Farrakhan getting hugs and handshakes despite his leading a hate group for decades.

People aren't able to "touch" history. I had a vendor whose mom hid out and was able to get on a boat to Israel after the war. She was the only survivor in her family other than an uncle who she encountered on the boat. She also found her husband on the boat!
I know someone who was on one of the last planes out of Vietnam and another who was one of the 1980s boat people escaping Vietnam.
Never forget is the saying, but people are forgetting, much as many young people don't understand the horrors of Communism.
