The Japanese empire expansionist, Palestinian response to Israel is emancipatory. Japan was more about power, Palestinian resistance is about survival. And those trying to survive fight harder, and become even more brutal, in response to brutality by the state. This is what leads to the creation of groups like Hamas.
Oh please, stop parroting Hammie propaganda. Hamas has been offered a 2-state solution for decades and rejected it. They were elected to power by Gazans for a very specific reason. Because they were murderers and promised the genocide of the people of Israel and end of the nation of Israel. That's it.

In what elections? There hasn't been an election since 2006. People born in 2006 are now 17.

While true that Hamas seems to have no intention of holding elections,...there doesn't seem to be any big outcry to have them anyway by these younger Palestinians nor people outside of Gaza.

People have the ability to take back their country, if they want to. The Palestinians don’t want to. They want Hamas in power. And now they’re suffering for it.

They get no sympathy from me.

They can, they have and they will. In case you don't remember, view Operation Thunderbolt: The Raid on Entebbe (video below):

Israel was a lot less powerful then, and a lot more hated.

They were making progress with the Arab nations; this destruction is turning the tide against them. They are not going to be able to bomb their way to peace, they have absolutely no plan. They are creating another generation of terrorists.
It worked in Germany and Japan after WWII. But part of that is reversing the brainwashing just as was done with denazification in Germany. The young palestinians can't be allowed to be indoctrinated by the terrorists.

Deislamization may be more difficult than denazification. They have been brainwashed for more than a millennia to accept that a warlord, rapist, murderer and pedophile is some sort of "Ideal Man"-and someone to emulate. Granted the Nazis were not that much different, but they only had a decade or so for the brainwashing to be drilled into them. The problem is this goes MUCH further than just Israel.

That was quite different, they were wars against countries that had capital and defined lines and structure, Hamas leaders are in the 4-seasons hotel in Quatar. This is more like trying to take out Al Qaeda or the Taliban.

No country can just bomb its way to victory, we learned that in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. There are multiple terrorists created for every innocent civilian killed, what do you think the reaction is for a family member killed in an air strike.

The reaction to Israel's bombing is growing in the Arab world, that is why these terror groups like the Houthis and other terror groups are attacking our ships and others in the Red Sea and Mediterranean. We are tied to Israel's actions, it's not just about them. If severe damage is inflicted on one of our ships we will be drawn into the war.

Given that the Palestinian/Arab world is rather loud and proud about their stated objective being the total destruction of Israel and the genocide of Jews, under what circumstances do you see Israel being at peace? You’ve made it clear that you don’t believe the Israelis have a plan, so what would your plan be?

If it means keeping their citizens secure, maybe they want to occupy Gaza (not having rockets fired at them). It seems that they count part of the population of the West Bank within the official Israeli Census, so...
