Shooting a traitor at dawn isn't the same thing as assassination. It's what's done to traitors against the United States of America.
I don't think Trump is in any way vulnerable to being assassinated by the left. That's not a thing. The left moans and cries and marches, and threatens to leave the country.
Not to mention burning down buildings, blinding officers with lasers, throwing plastic bottles filled with concrete, urine, and other foul ingredients, looting, destroying cars, and otherwise doing their "thing".
The Secretaries of State in Colorado and Maine didn't have the authority to do what they did.

Your idea that he can retake office and pardon himself, or get the Supreme Court he tried to rig to help him avoid prosecution for state crimes is ludicrous. For him to be able to pardon himself would mean that anyone in that office could commit any crimes he desired with impunity, including sending out hit men to eliminate opponents, and simply pardon everyone on his last day in office and walk away free. Of course, if he eliminated the opposition, no one would dare oppose him again, and he could appoint himself president for life, or Emperor, for that matter.
Be careful what you ask for. Trump as king would have no more use for you.

I am not a fan of Trump. He is innocent until proven guilty. But I am a fan of the constitution and free and fair elections. And not disenfranchising voters because you don't like their candidate.

What if the AG refuses to end the cases? The AG should not be subject to political pressure from the President.
The state charges go forward. If Trump doesn't show up for trial, a warrant is issued.
