A loss for those too stupid to understand how the law works. Gee, if this is the best the GOP has there, they have my pity. Evidently, it isn't only the Dems that love that illegal labor that Trump would send back south of the border!

This is great news. I think we all know the SC would not have supported this.

Sorry guys, you'll have to find another way to try to beat Trump, maybe start by finding a decent candidate to run against him!
No. We want Biden to run.

I think that’s how those shady judges structured this, meaning, they could make a big splash about how President Trump is disqualified, yet ‘stayed’ their decision right away.

Jena Griswold, the extremely partisan Colorado Secretary of State, is no friend of Republicans, so it probably pains her to place President Trump’s name on the ballot.

We can always expect Leftists like you to deflect to the GOP, eventhough this is almost entirely a woke Leftist Democrat endeavor.

Colorado Secretary of State says Trump is BACK on the ballot unless the Supreme Court rules he should be disqualified

by Katelyn Caralle, U.S. Political Reporter for Dailymail.com

PUBLISHED: 14:38 EST, 28 December 2023 | UPDATED: 17:07 EST, 28 December 2023

Donald Trump is back on the presidential ballot in Colorado after an appeal put a stay on the ruling that removed him under an 'insurrection' clause of the U.S. Constitution.

The Colorado Republican Party filed on Wednesday asking the U.S. Supreme Court to look at the lower court's ruling that disqualified Trump from running on the presidential ballot in the state due to his role in the January 6 Capitol riot.

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced that Trump will for the time being remain on the ballot, which goes to print on January 5 – unless the Supreme Court affirms the lower court's ruling or otherwise declines to take on the appeal.
Trump voters aren't half the country.

BTW, has the Colorado Supreme Court gotten around to publishing the transcript of the trial they held, where they found Trump guilty of "insurrection"?

Anybody know the date(s) this trial was held, and/or have a link to the transcript?

In this country, everybody (even Republicans) is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, right? When did the Colorado Supreme Court prove him guilty in their court?

What makes you think that ANYONE who coddles criminals, lets millions of illegal aliens cross the border scot-free, and transfers tax money from those who earned it to those who didn't (in other words, any Democrat), is a "decent" candidate?

I’m not surprised she caved on this — other State A.G.’s & Secretary of States have not wanted to be on record as supporting something so ridiculous. The Leftists only cause President Trumps popularity to rise every time they pull these Lawfare stunts.

Default Maine Secretary of State says Trump is OFF the ballot until the Supreme Court rules otherwise

Back on the ballot temporarily in Colorado, off the ballot temporarily in Maine.

Trump has close to zero chance of winning Colorado, but the way Maine splits its electoral votes could have some effect.

Maine elections official disqualifies Trump from presidential primary ballot
Quote:
Maine’s top election official on Thursday disqualified Donald Trump from the state ballot in next year’s U.S. presidential primary election, becoming the second state to bar the former president for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol.

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, a Democrat, concluded that Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in 2024, incited an insurrection when he spread false claims about voter fraud in the 2020 election and then urged his supporters to march on the Capitol to stop lawmakers from certifying the vote.
