Funny how they use the statue of liberty as a symbol of open immigration for all, when Immigrants were rejected in the past by the millions at Ellis Island for issues from being too sick are being from the wrong country. The statue of liberty in actuality is a symbol of highly controlled immigration with high rejection rates.

Way back in the eighties, when Reagan gave amnesty to millions of illegals, I advocated for removing the statue of liberty, and my feelings have not changed on the issue.
This may be a tough pill to swallow, coming from a republican, but I call um as I see um.

The statue should have been removed decades ago.
I don't have a problem with the Statue of Liberty itself. What needs to be removed is that poem at the bottom of it used as blackmail by the liberal left to demand that we allow every destitute person in the world to come here even if they come here illegally.
There was no "gotcha". All that he'd done was to make himself look like an unhinged idiot.
