I think it is safe to say, trans people have boldly went where no man would ever even think of going.

Perhaps the intro to Star Trek fits their MO better.

Woke: the final tack in humanity's coffin.
These are the voyages of a suicidal species.
It's urgent mission: to explore strange new psychoses;
to seek out new genders and new pronouns;
to boldly go where the dodo bird and woolly mammoth went!

lol..you completely missed the point. Reading is fundamental. Where is anyone saying that language already published (you know, like a 57-year-old TV show) should be changed? That was the assertion of the person I was responding to. If you can find anyone from the EU saying that the opening narration of Star Trek Original Series should be edited, by all means share.

No, but the activists don't care about making everyone happy. This isn't even to make them happy, if they were happy there would be nothing left for them to do. As soon as they "fix" this issue, they will be onto the next thing that now makes them unhappy.

France and Spain will have to invent new languages.

Their words are feminine/masculine..their entire language is "gendered".
How do you make that neutral ?

The US has done that. New publications of old books have been modified.
The old publications no longer available.

It does not happen overnight. But it does happen.

Thanks for not answering my question, but instead taking a wild and wacky deflection. And amusingly enough, your link is about a specific author's books published in the UK, not the US. Try again.
