Woke: the final tack in humanity's coffin.
These are the voyages of a suicidal species.
It's urgent mission: to explore strange new psychoses;
to seek out new genders and new pronouns;
to boldly go where the dodo bird and woolly mammoth went!
lol..the European Institute for Gender Equality is "who" formed by the EU themselves.
lol..you completely missed the point. Reading is fundamental. Where is anyone saying that language already published (you know, like a 57-year-old TV show) should be changed? That was the assertion of the person I was responding to. If you can find anyone from the EU saying that the opening narration of Star Trek Original Series should be edited, by all means share.
No, but the activists don't care about making everyone happy. This isn't even to make them happy, if they were happy there would be nothing left for them to do. As soon as they "fix" this issue, they will be onto the next thing that now makes them unhappy.

The US has done that. New publications of old books have been modified.
The old publications no longer available.

Thanks for not answering my question, but instead taking a wild and wacky deflection. And amusingly enough, your link is about a specific author's books published in the UK, not the US. Try again.

Well the UK is no longer a member of the EU...isn't it?
