He has to put up 83 million dollars to appeal her case. He is better off filing for bankruptcy. Although I heard on CNN Bankruptcy won't discharge this.
I'm going to make this really easy for the Trump haters.
First of all, we're just talking about routine paperwork. That stupid article blew up something mundane into "Trump's screwed this time!", just like they did for the entire time he was president.
Second, for those who are hung up on "WhErE's TrUmP gOiNg To GeT eIgHtY-tHrEe MiLlIoN dOlLaRs?!?!1!", let's give you as much latitude with that idea as possible and say that he's flat broke. Destitute. Not a penny to his name.
What do you think a book deal for his memoirs would be worth?
You guys don't get it. $83m is nothing to people in that echelon of society. Money isn't their concern. They know how to get a hold of money, even when they don't have any. IT'S WHY THEY'RE IN THAT ECHELON OF SOCIETY.
Trump should just sell everything he has in NYC to raise the cash and get out. They used to celebrate him and now they Hate him and the city is going down hill fast so why stay?
If I were Trump, move to DC for 4 years, (living in the WH) and then retire to Mar a Lago and play golf all day.
Some legal experts have raised questions about Trump’s ability to secure such a bond, but Levinson said he’d be surprised if Trump wasn’t able to get a bank to give him a letter of credit or come up with sufficient assets as collateral.
The irony, considering his fraud case is dealing with credit tied to "sufficient assets".
How barking mad would a bank have to be to spot Trump 80+ million dollars? I would love to be a fly on the wall for that board meeting.
