Well it's helping them seek out Government Welfare options such as SNAP, Medicaid etc as they can no longer make ends meet without it. And perhaps that's exactly what the Dems want. Make as many as possible dependent on Government Assistance and those dependent become the Slave of the Government and especially of the Party that you feel will continue to give you that "aid". Really who will vote against the Party that they think is "helping them". Dependency equals Slavery.
Fear of losing that aid gains votes and power. Works and it works well until there is no more to take from those who produce and the net contributors have decided they have had enough and either move or stop putting in the effort to produce. California is the perfect example of this as the money is leaving the State en mass and now the State can't afford to pay the masses.
If dems cared as much as they claim, they would be out there trying to help those in need to realize the ONLY WAY OUT is to stay in school, GRADUATE, get a job, etc. and to convince the females to keep,their legs crossed.
Until then NOTHING will change or help them.

They always had money to by a bottle of booze and cigarettes, etc but, not enough to buy diapers, food for the kids, etc.

The very bottom has been helped immensely. As in, the illegals. Everyone else is being made to suffer, except some of the elites who the democrats serve.
Bidenomics is a JOKE. Maybe it could work but not when there are Millions of Illegal Aliens streaming in and demanding to be taken care of. The Dems are tripping all over themselves to keep the Illegals housed, clothed and well fed but what about citizens? My state actually admitted to spending $50,000,000 per month on Illegals but that was in the Summer. We now have so many more so the number is probably $75 Million. Imagine the good that money could do for our struggling citizens?
From my vantage point all I see is the middle and lower classes having to pay more for everything and many doing without to make ends meet. Good job Biden but let's keep that Border open so we can waste more money.
I’m not sure why Democrats blabber on and on about growing the economy “from the bottom up.”
I mean maybe I’d buy into that if suddenly the lowest-income people were creating jobs for everyone else, but we know that’s not happening.

The Republican Way is trickle-down economics. Give the wealthy big tax cuts, and hopefully some of that money will trickle down in the form of investments and jobs.
Bidenomics is in reverse. Start with government investment that creates jobs. More people employed at higher wages means more consumer demand. That's what is meant by "bottom-up".
Thus far it is working. The signs of it working are low unemployment and robust GDP growth. These are accepted measures of economic activity. The number of people in line at a soup kitchen is not.

No, Bidenomics has absolutely punished the lower-middle class.
Just the increase in fuel costs is punishing. If gas is up $1 a gallon since 2021, and it is, and a person uses 20 gallons a week, that's a $1,000 increase in the family budget. Factor in food inflation, auto insurance, etc., and the "Biden economy" is an absolute trainwreck for the lower-middle class.
The constant lying coming out of the White House regarding how great the economy is doing is disgraceful.
