Known history is that Israel started the 1967 war by doing a surprise attack on Egypt. Just because you're so uneducated to think otherwise, don't think you're on the side of settled history.

"The war began on June 5, 1967, when Israeli airplanes attacked the Egyptian air force and destroyed many airfields. Between June 5 and June 11, Israeli Defense Forces led onslaughts against Egyptian forces in Sinai and Gaza, and against the Jordanian military in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. The conflict ended with significant battles against Syrian forces on the Golan Heights between June 9 and 10. By June 11, Israel controlled territory previously held by the Arabs in the Sinai, the Golan Heights, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem."

Neither warrants a surprise invasion. Egypt can mass its troops wherever it wants in its land, just as Israel was doing. Both were arming their border. Israel fired the first shot

Neither Danny or Informed Consent will come back and say they were wrong. In fact, they will probably say the same wrong things on other threads.

What happened BEFORE that? For what was Israel retaliating? That's what started the war.

As opposed to what Hamas says in its charter?

The Arab nations met in Morocco, in Sept 1965, to discuss their readiness for war with Israel, King Hassan had the meeting recorded and handed the intelligence over to the Israeli's. There is no question what the future held for Israel. So, they struck the first blow.

However, the Israeli anti-settlement watchdog Peace Now warned: "Instead of building a future of hope, peace, and security, the Israeli government is paving the way for our destruction."

What are you talking about, as it goes on all the time. What do you think causes and results from the various wars, or even in more modern times what Russia did with Crimea and now other parts of the Ukraine?

As to what Israel is doing, while I certainly do not agree with everything they do, the words from that group "the Israeli government is paving the way for our destruction" is laced with irony and hypocrisy.
Most of the Muslim countries and certainly the radical Islamic groups (the "opposition" according to vegetable for brains Biden, as he called Hamas ) pledge to wipe Israel of the face of the earth.
So, while two wrongs do not make a right, Israel has the right to exist and survive.

The ME peace process is one of the most confounding problems our world faces, and when you see the video of both Israeli & Arab reporters asking their own respective people "can they live together in peace with each other, BOTH sides say no.

So what solution is possible with that mentality?
