But not that old, so I seriously doubt the 30% number.
Generally speaking doctors take Medicare. You still make money, and older folks need a lot more in terms of HC.

The guy who runs my son’s practice does not agree and besides many docs are scheduled out for weeks and months. IOW they don’t need or want financial losers.

I watched a YouTube video of a guy who traveled to Morroco. He got terrible food poisoning while he was there and passed out on the side of the street. He was taken to a private emergency room and spent the night. He paid $31. No health insurance. Mind blowing. In America, you cannot even get a bandaid for that price lol.

The American healthcare system is like it was designed by some mad scientist as part of a 'Hunger Games' type of experiment. Phenomenal levels of corruption and bureaucratic bloat from top to bottom.

The American Healthcare system was designed as life is here in the USA. A citizen is on their own to provide for and support themselves. Unless one is on welfare or asylum seekers. that are provided their needs courtesy of taxpayers. Then That seems to be how our Govt and society is run. Evidently a large number of Americans are ok with this, or I'm pretty sure the US Healthcare system would be overhauled. An example would be if millions of Americans suddenly lost Insurance coverage. You can bet this pitiful system we have now would be fixed.

it is designed based on life, LIBERTY, and the "pursuit" of happiness..... OF THE INDIVIDUAL

the ""idea"" of all coverage for every sniffle insurance is a scam from the liberals

do you put in an insurance claim when you repaint your daughters room???????????

do you put in an insurance claim when you put new tires on your car?????????

we need to go back to PRIOR TO THE LATE 70'S when insurance was simply hospitalization......... big stuff covered.... sniffles and check-ups out of pocket......

It's important to note the government is paying billions of dollars for migrant's healthcare and several hospitals near the border are running millions in the red.

We have premiums, copays and deductibles to help weed out the silly nonsense. Which by the way are not the expensive HC costs.

There exists today an enormous outpatient and chronic disease management HC system. Much of medicine today is in diagnosis, treatment, preventative and health maintenance as an outpatient. Not cheap, but very useful, and helps to keep us out of the hospital, healthy, productive and alive.

Morrocco isn't giving up $60 billion to fund proxy wars in Eastern Europe. You can't have free healthcare and be the world's police, you have to pick one.

Any veteran, including myself, will tell you how bad free healthcare and dental service is in the military as well as how bad the VA treats veterans in general. Any veteran will tell you how they much prefer going off base to private practices than getting free service on base with bad quality.

America is the greatest country on the planet, to make money. No one ever said it was the cheapest place to get your healthcare. If US healthcare was a dealbreaker, a lot of American would've left by now and illegals surely wouldn't be dying to get here.

Americans are totally clueless and oblivious. They have no idea how badly they are being scammed and rinsed.

The illegals coming over are the dregs. The US is the world's dumping ground.

As for the "making money" part, I am not sure I believe even that anymore. The game is becoming more rigged by the day, and more and more wealth is being funneled to the top. America is losing the one and only thing it has going for it....

Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage are not the same.

Original Medicare is a government-run option and not sold by private insurance companies.

Medicare Advantage is managed and sold by private insurance companies. If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you’ll still have Medicare, but you’ll get most of your Part A and Part B coverage from your Medicare Advantage Plan, not Original Medicare
