Now that Joe Biden said he'll debate Trump, we need at least 1 debate to occur PRIOR to any early voting.

American voters deserve to see both Presidential candidates debate side by side on their records, & plan for America's future.

Lara Trump is 100% accurate about this, & if Biden's handlers won't agree, then that needs to be made nationally known to every American voter.

I am about 98% confident that no one will actually change their vote due to watching a debate. Neither candidate is likely to say anything that will change anyone's mind. I certainly wouldn't bother watching a debate between two candidates that I don't like and would never vote for.

What Hemlock said.

No one's forced to fill out their ballot prior to a debate.

Then why even have debates?

Don't forget, seven hundred thousand Pennsylvanians cast their 2022 ballot before the debate between Dr. Oz and Mr. Fetterman. That was an earth shattering debate, as that was the first time many voters had seen just how incapable Mr. Fetterman was.

How can that be fair? How can free and fair elections have voting take place before the time honored tradition of debating one's opponents?

Our elections are not free and fair and they never will be. Too many people involved do not want them to be.

It's not needed. It's more of a show and farce than a real / traditional "debate". Someone here posted some links recently as a great comparison to before and now; real debate vs. modern show.

We all know about both candidates. It would add nothing. And worse, it would just devolve into another political crap show and circus, which we already have way too much of these days.

It also serves to educate a large group of people about things they may not know about.

Do the American people know that President Biden has pledged to raise everyone's income taxes, in a time when everyone's dealing with crippling inflation, for example?

Biden's pledge for income taxes, was to make the tax cuts that were made to expire at the end of next year permanent for those with incomes under $400,000.

People who vote early have made their minds up, and firmly. A debate isn't going to change their votes.

Even though Biden said he would debate Trump I don't believe him unless his handlers already have lots of pills to pump up Biden.

Besides, even if it did happen Trump would squash him in a New York minute.

I think people's minds are made up already, we don't need a debate, at least I don't.
