You missed the point. If a person already worked the system to get housing assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, SSI, etc, they are set-up without needing to work especially when you add in county assistance like utility assistance.

Now, when you add kids in the mix, you pick up a "whopping" $219 per kid in SNAP benefits per month. See https://www.cbpp.org/research/food-a...y-and-benefits Additionally, many states have issued a cap on how many kids you can have on welfare. So the conversation of it being profitable to have more babies was valid before 1997. Any mom who is cranking out kids assuming that $219 per month is going to cover expenses is idiotic.

Based on your strong words, am I to assume you exclusively had sex with your married partner? Did you partake in any evil male-tramp-like sex out of wedlock?! If you did, wouldn't that make you a hypocrite?

Pregnancy and abortion are DIRECTLY related to the topic of this thread because, in the US:

1) Low-income correlates to low IQ
2) Low-income have the highest birth rate
3) Low-income are the LEAST likely to abort

That floods the population with poor and therefore low IQ people, consequently lowering the US's average IQ.

Low income are not the least likely to abort.

Low income have the highest unplanned pregnancies, so why would they be least likely to abort?

Quote:
Poor women continue to account for a disproportionate share of abortion patients, and this representation increased from 42% to 49% over the six-year period, mostly driven by an increase in the population of women of reproductive age who are poor.

Yes, they are. Look at ther abortion RATE.

In this case (percentage), it's how many per 100 unplanned pregnancies are aborted, by Income level.

Abortion Rates by Income Level, Unplanned Pregnancies

Poverty Level: 8.6%
100%-200%: 7.8%
200%-300%: 16.2%
300%-400%: 8.0%
Over 400%: 31.9%

Source: Brookings Institution (left-wing think tank). Figure 4 on page 7: https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content..._pregnancy.pdf

No/low-income women are the LEAST likely to abort.

Is this disagreement due to some people's incapacity to understand the mathematical concepts of percentages and rate? Yikes.

The cause is not poor people having babies.
It's stupid people having them. Sometimes being poor goes hand-in-hand with being stupid, but not always.

Don't be afraid to call stupid people "stupid". You don't have to hate them. No need to feel sorry for them. But we do need to acknowledge their shortcomings.

Low IQ actually is correlated with a low-income level.

I'm sure that's true.
But you can't assume all low-income people are stupid as much as you can assume all stupid people will have a tough time organizing their lives and predicting pregnancy.
Low IQ people are having more babies than high income people. I think that's why the IQ level will continue to fall.
Soon, the population level overall (world wide) will begin to fall. It will fall for many, many generations with the decrease in baby-making led mostly by affluent, smart people.

So the world will become less populous, poorer and dumber.

Saved me the words, although we should be really careful with your point #3. IQ and its relationship to behaviors/outcomes related to socioeconomic status is very much germane.
