Krusheve said he would bury the USA too and we did not nuke him. Words are cheap. And Iran's President did not say he "would" do it. He said that it "should be done".

Iran has called for the end of the Apartheid (Zionist) State of Israel, not the end of the Jewish people. America regularly calls for the end of political regimes in Burma, Zimbabwe, ...etc.

A UN human rights envoy says Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories is like South African apartheid.

Well, reasonable approaches don't seem to be working so far:

Iran rejected a six-nation offer of incentives to stop enriching uranium on Saturday, prompting President Bush and French President Nicolas Sarkozy to jointly warn Tehran anew against proceeding toward a nuclear bomb.

The quickly unfolding series of events began in Tehran, where European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana played the role of messenger for the offer from the United States, France, Germany, Britain, Russia and China.

It includes "more meat in terms of how Iran could prosper" from going along, including new help developing civilian nuclear power in the form of energy partnerships and other measures.

I'm suprised Israel hasn't taken out Iran's nuclear facilities yet. Just a matter of time now. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. On Earth as it is in heaven.

At worse other nations such as Russia would jump in and we'd have a nuclear exchange and life as we know it would come to an end.
Thank you Nastradamus!!

Iran provides Hezbollah with any rocket they wish to launch into Israel. Some day they'll get the war they want.

How would Bush plan to keep oil prices from skyrocketing and strangling the economy in the event of an airstrike, anyhow? He hasn't articulated such a plan.

It is very unlikely that Russia and China would just sit around and watch Israel nuke Iran.
I tend to disagree. What did they do when the Israeli's hit Syria?

Quietly lodge a protest behind the scenes so no one would acknowledge that the Israeli's actually did it?

I doubt they would nuke the facilities. Just standard, conventional missiles would be in play.
