We should be wroking on crude from shell but any meaningful production is quite far in the future. Kind of like building a new refinery it taht a decde to get on line and is very expoensive. In teh end ti will cost moire than buying crude just as methnol is but we will need it in the future.Alot of things that don't seem cost effective will be in the future.
