New Orleans is also one of the cheapest cities in America. You get to live in a world class city at pretty low prices. Not many cities can be both exciting, full of history, have a great bar and singles seen, and not break the bank. And you have the muffuletta too.

Damn it, without even attempting you're making me want to move to the New Orleans.

Rents have gone up quite a bit since the storm though. It's not as cheap as it once was (but still much cheaper than a NYC or a SF). It's likely on par with Atlanta.

I haven't been to NOLA in awhile, but I have a friend who works in the oil industry and he has to drive through NOLA often. He told me that he wears a kevlar vest everytime he drives through there.

That's retarded unless there is a huge oil platform in the middle of St. Roch with a I hate black people sign on it.

Thousands of wealthy familes send their kids to college at Loyola NO, or Tulane.
We just hosted the NBA All star game, the Sugar Bowl, the BCS Championship, Mardi Gras as well as the upcoming French Quarter music fest and the Jazz and Heritage festival. Thousands upon thousands of people came here and they didn't notice those bullets whizzing by their heads for some odd reason.

The real government lazy criminals are all the people that leech off the system for medicare, medicaid, and social security. Poor people who demand, housing, food, and other transfer payments make up a very small budget in terms of overall entitlements benefits. You should really read up on the facts and attack the groups who are really costing us the most money!!! I do not like people on welfare, but the fact is they cost us very little as a country, because only 10% of a 300 million population is living under the poverty level.
Yeah your right, I should not have said anything agianst NO, I normally don't.
I had a few unpleasent experiances the one time i visited, it just left a bad impression on me. I'm sure there are plenty of good people there as there is everywhere.
