"Mr Bush voiced regret at divisions in the international community created by the war in Iraq, adding: "I think that in retrospect I could have used a different tone, a different rhetoric".
He admitted that his use of phrases such as "bring them on" and "dead or alive" had "indicated to people that I was, you know, not a man of peace"."
Maybe that rhetoric was over the top, but there will be disciplinary charges brought up against soldiers listening to rhetoric. You have to be president to grant yourself absolution, afterall. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7410367.stm
You people are just MEAN picking on the handicapped!
I think it's mean to lump him in with those who are handicapped. Those handicapped are generally handicapped to know fault of their own. This guy ain't handicapped, he's simply an arrogant, inexperienced, uncaring idiot with an agenda.
Unfortunately, he's talking about the same garbage in relation to Iran at the moment.
I was listening to an English speaking radio station and Bush was actually talking about Iran in the same way he spoke of Iraq, the lies, the we'll try talking, etc.
INEXPERIENCED!!!! 8 yrs, he should have enough experience. Now he's a thoroughly profficient uncaring idiot with an agenda.
no. i'd disagree. despite how many years in office, he still is pretty incompetent. probably wouldn't matter if he retired after 30 years in office, he still wouldn't know what he was doing.
you guys watch the office? remember the episode where creed is being interviewed--someone asks what he does for a living, and he opens his mouth to answer, then kinda pauses, frowns, and asks someone else off-camera what it is that they do--you remember that? that's mr bush in a nutshell.

Criminal masterminds couldn't do the damage he's managed. It takes real talent to be this diabolical. Maybe rover got bored with the puppet?

I thought it was 2003 all over again.
Scary!
chiel if you read the link, you'll notice bush is very scared of what obama might do if elected. Some kind of vote of confidence for McCain, huh? That's why he's sucking up now, to try to influence past his watch what goes on internationally.
