With the Minneapolis only a few months away, party officials are struggling with the question of President Bush speaking before the convention and the nation. McCain & other politicians are keeping distance from Bush for fear of losing votes.
What role will VP Cheney have? The trouble is the TV coverage is 24 hrs & all the speakers will be seen by the nation & world.
Bush has had the usual cool reception from our allies in Europe. The American election is being watched closely in Europe w/ all countries favoring Obama. Bush is regularly deplored outside the U.S.

Nah, when the Repubs have their little luvfest, he'll be clearing brush in Crawford. At least he'll be cleaning up something, but there are bigger messes he should attend to. Then again, maybe he should leave the big ones be.

Isn't it odd that none of the Republicans are even comfortable discussing what to do with their great president? They're hold their convention hoping everybody will forget about Bush. But unfortunately no Americans will be able to forget Bush for a very long time [cursing his name every time another American dies in Iraq or when we fill up our gas tanks w/ nearly $5 a gallon [which is projected to be the cost by the end of summer
