I hear the arguments from democrats and republicans. if either of them is responsible, then why is oil so expensive in europe? it has always been expensive there, but the prices are going up. how can that be the fault of either democrats or republicans?
who really knows that for sure? I agree with the taxes in europe thing. I think we should be 100% independent of foreign oil so we can watch those third world countries burn.

How very caring...which 3rd world countries are you talking about?
I am talking about the third world countries we rely on for oil. you know the countries, the ones where the richest control the wealth and treat their citizens like total crap. let's take the wealth away from those rich a-holes.

I agree to an extent of what you're saying, however those countries are capitalizing on a commodity that they have. It's just like any other country, but it's gotten out of hand.
I have no problem with trading with a country. the problem is that we are so dependent on oil from poor countries. we can do what we do here, and let the saudi's enjoy their $.20 per gallon gas. most of these countries hate us. if we have no need for their services, they will bankrupt themselves. I have no problem with that. it's not going to make it any harder for the poor, but it will make it harder for the rich in those countries.
