One interesting oddity in liberal thought is that aborting a human baby is ok, even celebrated as 'making a difficult choice' , but if a species such as a bird or amphibian is on the 'Endangered Species list' , you might go to jail for destroying an unhatched egg.
Can anyone explain this?

I agree with you there! If a child is disabled it should be killed?! That is crazy! There are only two ways it is exceptable to me rape or mother or baby's health is in danger.
