That is a great idea! Counter Bibles and Jehovah Witnesses with Quarans! Let the proselytizers ponder the conflicts of the handbooks of their respective religious sects! A tip of the Hatlo Hat!

FYI, nobody, especially the proselytizers, pay any attention to signs! Now, a pit bull or a doberman might make an impression on would be proselytizers and solicitors!

Yep. I have a completely fenced yard AND the signs.

Last time, I just let my dogs out. They were actually leashed (I leashed them to the inside of the house before letting them out on 20 foot leads), and couldn't get quite to the gate... but the JW's didn't know that and when the dogs headed that way, barking like mad, they left.

And they aren't even "scary" dogs (a black Lab and a Shih-tzu mix)!

The results are what counts! Besides, the JW's didn't want any blood on their white shirts! Looks bad!

Id have no problems with them dropping things at my door. In fact, I would rather they showed up in person so I could have them explain various questions I had on the book. People are free to speak, nobody is required to listen.

The concern is the catch 22 in which these neighbors find themselves....how to "respectfully" dispose of it without raining down jihad on them--for unknowingly or unwittingly "desecrating" the muslim holy book. Bury it? Give it away? Burn it? It will be interesting to see what transpires.

They could mail it to me. I've always thought about buying a copy. Would be nice to have as a reference, or simply as something different to read. There's definitely space on the religion shelves in my library. I'll even send them a check for the postage!

Please tell me that you're joking! "Raining down jihad"? How about just running the book through a shredder and making tiny Quarans out of the big Quaran? Works for me!
