I think their hatred for the Bible is more about hating Christianity as a part of the "traditional American way of life" that they're so anxious to eliminate.

I honestly don't think some liberal read the Bible, slammed it shut and said, "Hey, this stuff's too weird for me."

I think they see it as "Traditional American Culture" and as we all know, we want to get rid of that as quickly as possible.

I think this country has a pretty a-religious background. I hear some make the statement that we live in a christian country. I don't see it. the god on our money is generic. I would have a huge problem with the koran being used in law.

IT is interesting to contrast this against Euro law which is diametrically different than Sharia. Especially in the areas on punishment and the treatment of women.

I worked retail in a city with a heavy muslim populations. I saw alot of (poorly) covered black eyes.

Default Believe It

I came across these posts via the net accidentally. Believe what was originally posted. I work in counter terrorism and intelligence and what was originally posted is truth. I actually joined this forum specifically to comment so that you would be steered in the right direction.

Yes. GB now has sharia law imposed after enough of Muslims had worked on getting it in. This usually happens after a nations Muslim percentage rate goes above 2 percent and stealth jihad is evident in the U.S. and is making headway. If you do your research you will find this to be the truth.

You will likely not see me here any longer.

Good luck to all.

There are some areas of America that are ruled by Amish rules. There are also entire states in the US that are ruled at least partially by fundamentalist Christian rules. It'll be ok.

I agree. It's that "traditional American" life and all that it entails that infuriates a LOT of people, even some Americans. I suppose it has to do with the "nobody's going to tell ME what to do"...or "how to live", etc., that goes along with modern secular thought. "Christianity" only annoys to the extent that it's ASSUMED to be what 'traditional Americans' value. There are SOME overlaps, of course.

Yeah I know, that's why liberals can't stand baseball and rock'n'roll and cheeseburgers and stuff like that. Those are the kinds of things that make their minds explode. If you catch a liberal in his closet he'll probably be having a secret rugby game with his socialist friends while listening to polka music and munching on weinerschnitzels.

The fact is that what we CALL "Christian" societies, today, by-and-large are NOT...they're liberal secular societies with a Christian history and foundation..but they go to great lengths to include all OTHERS, as well. Muslim societies, on the other hand, often are LITERALLY run by the Koran (theocracies), and even 'secular' Muslim societies are FAR more influenced by that religion, than 'western' societies are by Christianity.

A society based on Koranic law would indeed be a problem (and is). In the past, we've TRIED societies more-or-less based in The Bible..those, too, were pretty unhappy places. Religion and nation-wide government just don't mix too well. All we can hope for, really, is religious freedom.
