christian arent allowed to eat pork? i never knew that lol and yet so many of them swallow it down like popcicles; even the most devouted ones...

There are a lot of bizarre customs in the Bible that we in the modern day would find crude and barbaric, even the most hardcore orthodox. Which is why I can't see why people let a collection of writings thousands of years old dictate their lives.
