Gun Control: Criminals don't follow the law...they will still have guns.

Abortion: We stopped murdering people long ago and started punishing people that did so. Just because they are babies doesn't make it ok.

I am not a fan of paying for abortions either. I am more a fan of personal accountability. That said I can't change the world or the fact kids discover that they like to have sex.
I don't like that planned parenthood feels that its okay to pass out birthcontrol to minors and not tell the parents. Contrary to liberal beliefs parents have a right to know what medication, drugs are medical attention their child receives. Once 18 or out of the house its private.
Besides I struggle believing anything Nancy P says.
I am careful during lightning storms. I'm one of those crazy people who won't take showers or wash dishes or do anything with water when it's lightning outside. Because I had an aunt who was washing dishes during a storm, and lightning came through the window and knocked her across the room, left her unconscious, and damaged her memory.

What percentage of gun carnage (30,000 killed and 200,000 wounded per year) is attributable to criminals?

Except they're not babies. They're fetuses with no rights whatsoever according to the constitution.

Yeah we wouldn't want anyone to think babies had feelings.

Hey, if you guys want to use the constitution to justify your inability to control your basic human urges...this is America. I stated my opinion....I didn't realize that wasn't allowed on a message board.

pretty sensitive subject I guess *rolls eyes*

The point is not whether abortion is right or wrong. The POINT is that Bush et al. are attempting to classify BIRTH CONTROL as abortion.

That's totally opinionated and we can go round and round in circles. Who would be right....won't matter what anyone of us think...SC will end up making the final call and that's always worked out for pro abortionist in the past. I wouldn't get all riled (sp?) up.

Having BC takes away having to have responsibility for your actions. If one always had to worry about being pregnant by probably doing things they shouldn't...it wouldn't be such a bad thing IMO. But as I stated earlier it has gone down like that in the past and most likely won't now.

Many people will always support abortion no matter what. Get your cake and eat it too.

Get knocked up don't want it, kill it.

What better way is there for young people to avoid responsibility?
