That's kind of what scares me too. It looks like they're trying to, in a roundabout way, eliminate the possibility of the people overthrowing a tyrannical government.

Not that they're seeing a tyrannical government when they look in the mirror, but a lot of us see it becoming one.

This is something that's always been present in America. Those in power are afraid of losing power. Even some of the Founders passed laws that infringed on the rights of citizens:

Alien and Sedition Acts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
Proponents claimed the acts were designed to protect the United States from alien citizens of enemy powers and to stop seditious attacks from weakening the government. The Democratic-Republicans, like later historians, attacked them as being both unconstitutional and designed to stifle criticism of the administration, and as infringing on the right of the states to act in these areas. They became a major political issue in the elections of 1798 and 1800. One act — the Alien Enemies Act — is still in force in 2008, and has frequently been enforced in wartime. The others expired or were repealed by 1802. Thomas Jefferson held them all to be unconstitutional and void, then pardoned and ordered the release of all who had been convicted of violating them.

Right...I'm sure none of the Democrats ever voted for the DHS, the REAL ID, or any other socialist/big brother scheme.

Want freedom this fall? Stay away from the problem (Republicans and Democrats) and vote third party.

I am not giving the wackos credit for their tin foil claims, but merely commenting on the facts of a "circumstance" such as which is believed and if it were to ever come to pass.

This sort of thing can not be changed through votes and replacement of representatives. It is that very approach to which corrupt institutions hope for. Bureaucracies are meant to establish slow change and evaluation in a system. It was designed for that very purpose in order to protect from drastic policies that are poorly designed and quickly implemented.

Our system is effective when applied at early signs of corruption, not in response to the aggregation of corrupt figures. Once aggregation is achieved, no form of "within the system" can effect change or restructure. Only a complete removal of all powers and a complete restructure of its system can achieve the goal of a sound government.

If there are problems as those who magically suggest. That is, if we have reached the point of "doom" to which they proclaim. Voting will not matter. Litigation will only serve to support the corrupt.

Personally, I do not think we are at that point. I think we can change things by simple voting of "educated" voters. Though the voters have to educate themselves and stop being the idiot pawns they are. This includes ALL sides, all emotional claims, and all personally driven motives in the system.

If we are in such a dire emergency, then there is only one solution. Complete and purposeful objection to the system and a commitment to cleanse the system by united force of the people. That means the willingness to shed blood and place ones life in the balance of that belief. For if people do not believe in dying for what they claim, then they don't believe much in their claim.

So, for all of those who love to pronounce these so dire claims of corruption to the point of their "urgency", I say you should pick up your rifles and put forth your courage. For if you are unwilling, you are not deserving of the freedoms you attempt to proclaim.

That is, if we are in such a dire situation, put up... or shut up.

The same democrats who are pushing for a preemptive war with Iran? Yeah, they are OH so much better than the Republicans.

3rd party is where we need to go if we want change, real change...not just the Barack Oblahblah "change" rhetoric.

All of this is just preemptive planning for a global government. The war on terrorism was planned and advanced for the reason of furthering and speeding up globalism. So are these amendments. They are not specifically stating who their target is. They're very broad so they make sure to include anti-globalists.

If I could I would abandon this country in a heartbeat now days. They have tied everyone hands and isolated groups of people like nationalists and unworldly christians. Its not a secret who they're preemptively making their target. They stirred up the world, and this war, for these very purposes.

This government is more than guilty of breaking its own laws and standards, and escaping accountability and shifting it on to the people they're selling and enslaving.

I wish there were better things to say about it. I wish there was a place we could all go and leave this country feeding off of its own sick politicians. The nation would not survive well at all without its believers. It would sink like a boat. The best way to put this sickness to end is to walk away and let them have it all. If there were a safe place to go where people couldn't be touched by these bloodthirsty cronies. It doesn't take a genius to see the stage being set.

I vote for Alaska total independence, self governance, and self reliability. People need to be preemptive also. Its plain and clear to see as the sun in the day.

Making a people's militia to surround Washington DC, and use citizens arrest to take conspiring cronies by surprise would play right in to their scheming. It would give them the "opportunity" they seek to exterminate patriots, and faithful. Then impose martial law, which would speed things up for them. They would make no bones about mowing down US citizens who oppose their goals if those citizens carried weapons. So I guess the only option I can see is leaving, or dying a martyr under their tyrannical scheming and emerging beast system.

IMO, the only way "real change" is going to happen is if the powers that are really running our government (call 'em the Illuminati or the Elite or whatever name is floating around) are defeated.

The government as we know it is just a middleman.

What we tend to forget very easily is that WE have the power and WE need to exercise it. Otherwise, for as long as we remain complacent and believe that things are how they should be, we'll continue to have the wool pulled over our eyes ... and nothing will ever change.

I agree, and being complacent includes falling into this Obama trance that the country is stuck in, but voting for McCain sure isnt much better either.
