It doesn't matter, all that matters is that I am well prepared for it... are you? Being prepared is the best course of action whether it is or it isn't going to be a depression... why do you think it is not okay to be prepared for it? CNN may be blowing smoke but as I see it, it may wake up Americans to be prepared whether or not it happens... if it doesn't happen, great... save up that money and continue saving it for when there is a chance it may happen later... if it doesn't happen by the time your retire, spend it and be happy...
I also note that the background of many "experts" on these news channels is not clearly stated...a lot have ties to think-tanks or lobby groups with an agenda.
