WASHINGTON — The White House predicted Monday that President Bush would leave a record $482 billion deficit to his successor, a sobering turnabout in the nation’s fiscal condition from 2001, when Mr. Bush took office after three consecutive years of budget surpluses.
I believe both Obama and McCain plan on big deficits when they are in office as well... They raised the cap from 9.8 Trillion maximum deficit to 10.6 Trillion and it will go up again... since when is it okay to keep spending when you don't have money? Obama wants a second round of stimulus to pick up the economy.... What an idiot, it isn't about having an extra few bucks, its about MAKING an extra few bucks.... if he wants to turn around the economy make the dollar of each American worth more... American won't feel better when it costs $100 to buy a loaf of bread... giving them a few more dollars isn't going to make the dollar worth more... McCain has no clue what to do... all he says is, war this, and war that... we are going to be in really bad shape...

It is amazing how you made this Obama's fault. You are a skilled defector.

Wow. Just...wow.
evilnewbie mentioned that both candidates are guilty of deficit spending. He also mentioned Obama's support for a 2nd stimulus. This "stimulus" is more fuel on the fire of inflation. He also demonized McCain's support for war war war.
But, for some reason, you thought the reply was one-sided.
Mark this page right now. A year down the road, they will be calling it Obama's fault. No doubt about it. Iraq too.
So if Obama overspends and drives the economy worse... then whose fault is it, exactly? Nobody's? Its obvious Bush was the cause of Iraq problem and if McCain was president, he would continue that problem and I would blame McCain for it as well. If Obama didn't withdraw the troops, whose fault is it? Apparently you don't like to read the whole thing but cherry-pick your responses... If it gets worse, whoever is president IS to be blamed... cause the president isn't fixing it...
Republicans blame Democrats for all the right-wings failures. Many ignorant people believe these lies for some sad reason.
Well, the next presidency should go to Obama as well as a democratically controlled Senate and House... who is to blame if something goes wrong? I think a lot of the failures are from Republicans and a smaller amount to Democrats these past eight years... I blame Republicans for the last eight years of failure ...but they are getting a change now... the democrats are taking over and if they screw it, then guess what, I will blame them for the problems... if things are better, I will give them credit where credit is due... I wonder how many of you liberals would say the same if the democrats screw up next year...

You don't like making hypothetical scenarios, huh? Could of fooled me...
