I have always loved the Philly fast talker, but I really thought he hit the mark on his college tour before the war.
There were students for and against the war. He went over to the anti war students and said, why are you against the war, and they said it was Bush's war, and he asked what they would do if they wrong and we were attacked with WMD, basically making the point that they might have to do things they don;t like, to protect their country.
Then he went over to the pro war students and asked why they were for the war, they said basically they supported the president and knew it was a defining moment in history, but when he asked if any of them were willing to actually fight in the war, not one said they were going. When he asked why, three said they would better serve the country by going to school (shades of Bill Clinton). So he said other people would have to fight their battles for them making the point that to be for something you are not willing to actually support is hollow support indeed.

I don't like Chris Matthews, not because he is liberal but because he won't stop talking. He asks a question of his guests with a super long preamble then cuts them off immediately so that he can talk some more. The guy is an egomaniac & only want so hear himself.

I like him but he is getting to be annoying the way he attacks his guest with question after question before they answer the first one.

Worse than that, Matthews asks an incredibly long question then gives his guests 10 seconds to answer before he cuts them off to answer his own question for another 5 minutes!
Chris Matthews is an ass,If a Republican is a guest He never lets him talk! I thought He was at least a moderate when He used to stand in on the radio for Rush Limbaugh in the 1990s.
I admit very Pro Obama but his political debates I find fair and like his style .
