I hear these terms use everyday. But what exactly is a hispanic person or a latino?
Any person that comes from Latin American,, Actually Hispanic is everybody that comes from a spanish speaking country. Latino is everybody that comes from a LATIN BASE speaking country.. But in the US they are using more latino/hispanics for spanish speaking people.
Is that basically a person who has black and white ancestors who spoke spanish.
Spanish has nothing to do with race, but culture(since language is part of culture.)
How else can you explain why in one country for example in latin america. Brazil there are white looking latinos, lightskin, brownskin, and really dark latinos all in one country.
They are all latinos because they speak portugues, a latin base language
I think there is a reason why every italian doesn't call themselves white.
Technically italians are latinos or latins, their language is latin base(even more then spanish).
Why do some italian and hispanic women. Have body shapes and hair color more similar. To black women in the united states than white women.
Because Moors invades south of Italy for many many years. And a lot of latinos are mix with white, native indians and blacks.
The same goes for people who call themselves asians. Why are some koreans and chinese more lighter skin. But people from india, and the phillipines are darker skin.
People from India are actually black.. In this worlds there is 3 types of black people(African, Native Australians and Indians)

Skin color has little to do with it as you would think.
Aboriginies in Australia for example are not negroid, they are mongoloid, the same race as typical japanese, native Americans and Chinese.
The typical Spanish decent hispanic is caucasoid, the same as the typical white person from England.
Blacks from Africa are negroid.
The sterotypical arab is caucasoid.
All names are made up as are words and languages in general, nothing about it was made by mother nature.

The reason some people wrongly use mongoloid for DOWN SYNDROME, and not mentally retarded(since mentally retarded is a wide range).
Since Down Syndrome people look similar to mongoloid race(asians) especially in the eyes,, they used mongolism for the condition of Down Syndrome,,, then mongolism was rejected by the medical profession and use the correct term of Down Syndrome,,
Using mongoloid in reference to down syndrome or mentally retarde people is wrong and offensive.
Also, just in case down syndrome is not the number 1 cause of mentally retarded people...

Continent separation occured long before man was around (and women).
I disagree, Aboriginies are mongoloid and Indians are caucasoid. Besides the obvious phenotype differences, there are genotype differences as well though the latter is still debated as genetic research technology improves more and more and interpretations are improved and debated also.

It may be genotype mongoloid, but in phenotype are negroid..
You can be genotype one thing and phenotype another..
Like if i am genotype blue eyes,, but actually have browns eyes(phenotype)
