Not likely. Iran is a whole different animal than Iraq. Even if we weren't in Iraq and Afghanistan, a ground war would be extremely difficult, if not impossible to win, and those in charge of the military know this.
Air assault? Perhaps. It may come to that if the Iranians continue insisting on pushing forward with their nuclear ambitions. Israel won't let them have nukes, and we'll back them up if they attack. But you're not going to see a ground war with Iran. That line of talk is pure BS proffered by those on the left that like to stir the anti-Bush pot.

No service personel can be compelled to follow an unlawful order. Shooting at your own, knowing that they are your own, just because someone said so would qualify as an unlawful order. Besides Seals would not be so stupid to allow themselves to be shot at to make a point. The Navy would not waste such a rare asset as a seal team.

bwahaha John Bolton, remember how easy Iraq would be? Do you really think Iran will just roll over if we bomb them, you realize Israel is our only ally and Iran will have Russia and China.

No one ever would have believed that we could have been lied into this neverending war in Iraq either. No one would have believed that after we had spent 10 years saving Viet Nam from the Viet Namese we would ever be tricked into spending thousands of lives and trillions of dollars saving Iraq from the Iraqese. Meanwhile, the country that provided the terrorist who attacked us...Saudi Arabia..is still our buddy....and Afghanastan....where those terrorist trained....is allowed to return to its former terrorist self. But hey, anyone who believed that people in our govenment would do that to fatten the Haliburton group would believe anything....right? There are none so blind as those who will not see.

You know your correct but fragging as you know is very different than shooting other soldiers on orders from Brass .
Fragging is killing your NCO,Lt,CPT if they continue to put you in harms way due to being inept or taking on dangerous missions for their own promotions,brownie points .
However Seals or ANY squad in any military branch ,etc firing upon American soldiers on purpose due to orders is NOT going to happen.
