I've been watching this in the news here in Florida. This is a perfect case of making sure you know someone before you vote them into office. The major of Largo, Florida has decided he wants to become a woman and is going to undergo a sex change. After debate and testimony he was removed from his job yesterday (which I would agree with, he's obvsiously unstable and totally misrepresented himself getting into office).

Here's the story for those outside the state that haven't heard of it:

I'm in Jersey and I heard about that. Not sure what I think about it. Anyway, who really knows the people they vote into office? All people can go by is what a candidate says and maybe a past voting record if there is one. No one can predict the future or what someone will do six months from now.

True... but changing one's gender???
Some may flip flop on issues or not hold true to what they say, but changing your gender is a big one!

You know this guy has been thinking about this for some time now, there's no way he didn't think this prior to getting voted in.

I'd vote him out... he's obviously not stable minded.

On the news they keep saying his wife is having a hard time dealing with it. NO, really?? You think?? I'd be calling the nearest divorce lawyer and psychologist I could find.
