liberals are as closed minded as anyone else. they classify "themselves" as progressive and open minded, but they are only open minded if you agree with everything that is on their mind. they are hypocrites just like everyone else.

Republican conservative seem to want the "free market" (actually their monopolistic cronies) to control your money and their preacher friends to control your social life. I disagree completely. We need much more government control of financiers and much less of personal matters. Get the government out of the bedroom and into the boardroom.
I support individual liberty within a socialist economy.

I didn't say that all liberals were closed minded, I said that there are as many closed minded liberals as within any other group. you didn't agree with that assessment and told me my observation didn't work and was stupid. so you didn't agree with it and called me closed minded. thank you for proving my point for me. no further questions your honor.

J, you're doing it again, putting words into people's mouths, or should I say keyboards? He didn't say you were close-minded, he said what you said was stupid. Big difference.
to say something is stupid, is to insinuate that it is wrong, and that his line of thinking is right.

Well, I should've pointed out that I don't agree with that one, either. No doubt a lot of people on this forum are guilty of the unfair generalizations.

Well, then that's a cynical view of people I don't want any part of. I have enough of those as it is. We're all hopelessly narrow-minded?

I guess if you say all people from Nepal eat their own feces and I say that's a stupid generalization, you can then turn around and tell me that I'm closed-minded and unwilling to consider other viewpoints. Have fun with that.
