Now that Iraq is not a threat to Iran, they've turned their attention to Israel in order to be seen as the "leader" of the Muslim world.

What's Israel's crime in all of this besides defending herself? Existing. Israel has done nothing to Iran beyond responding to not only Iran's threats, but that country's support of Hezbollah and Hamas.

Wow. What an intelligent and well thought out post. Not to mention the superb use of grammar, diction and spelling. I certainly stand corrected!

Rb the fact remains that we did in fact have a hand in putting the Shah in power. The shah was in fact a brutal dictator. A loyal ally to be sure but a brutal dictator none the less.
Israel. Israel remains a thorn in the arabs side. They by they I mean the arabs can not claim solidarity as long as they don't bash Israel for its treatment of fellow arabs. The palestinians. Folks make no mistake. Most arabs look at the Palestinians as an embarrassment. Sort of like how one might view the cousin in the family that just can't get anything right.
Iran the most hard core of Muslems claims to be fighting for the Palestinians. I say more like using them as a throw away tool. Same goes for the Hezzballics. Easy to let them suicide bomb the Israeli's. Israel isn't hitting Iran back. At least not yet. I have no problem with Israel and Iran swapping punches. I have no issues with Syria and Israel throwing down either. None of our business let them fight it out once and for all one more time. Iran enjoys support from Russia and China. Israel of course has us.
Let them do what they must. We obviously have no real influence over the argument anyway.

I agree. If I was Israel's PM I would have hit Iran month's ago.
If Iran's I would be in the race of my life to get nukes which is exactly what they are doing.

Our troops in arm's length away from Iran and it complicate's things .

How the Shaw was installed in to power or lost it has no relevance to my post. Iran and Israel were not "always" enemies. And Iranians are not Arabs. They are Persians.
