Not really. I am not anti-gay, but without heterosexuality, we would not exist at all which renders the point moot.

The people who developed insemination technology wouldn't exist if their parents hadn't engaged in a heterosexual relationship. Therefore, the basis of your argument doesn't mention the importance of hetero sex, and the fact that everything that we know today was the result of a man and a woman having sex.
