This week's Newsweek has an article describing how gays are murdered with state approval in Iraq [the country we have given our entire treasury to Because Muslims, like Religious Right Republicans, believe homosexuality is a sin, the "morals police" hunt and murder. Over 400 Iraqi gays [between 14 & 28 yrs old] were killed since the sectarian wars [Sunnis\ Shiite] ended. Now Iraqi's seek the sinners among themselves for execution under American supervision. This situation did not exist under Saddam's tight control of religion & ironically the gays felt safer under a dictator

There is a huge difference. While Christians may try to reorient the sexuality of gays or even to ostracise them, Muslim clerics take the Nazi approach by ordering the killing them and anyone else they don't agree with.
