The press is biased and not making any attempt to hide it. There's no way they will be fair, just or even objective so there's no use giving them access. They are not interested in information they are interested in character assasination. I'm glad their not playing the discredited media's game.

Selecting Sarah Palin for this job is the biggest and most noticeable gimmick I have ever seen. Of course she should talk to the Press prior to this election, just like everyone else. What an obvious red warning flag that is on this selection. People need to hear what she has to say, voting on someone this unknown is wrong and basically unfair to the voter. What is the saddest is that so many americans would fall for this foolishness, and not demand more. I will say it again, Mrs Palin is basically unknown to most of us. She is running along side a man that will be 73 several months after he took office. She only came into the picture 2 months before the election, while we have all heard from the other candidates for what a year two years. At least with Biden he is well known to many. There is not nearly enough known or time given to focus on this Republican nominee. A person that would be president should something happen to McCain. Any of you that have had 5 children think what it would be like trying to run a country on top of that. At times her 5 children seem to be more in the spotlight than her, and at times distracting from her. All in all a vast amount of americans are not being represented by this choice or her manner of thinking. Im sorry but yes she needs to be heard and that means dealing with the media.
Classic. Simply Classic!!!

I seem to recall a thread speculating who Mccain was going to pick. Was her name ever mentioned? I am serious as I never actually cared about the thread to begin with.

WHAT?

You don't want her to hold interviews? You don't want her to talk to us? Give us info on where she stands on issues? She can interview with whomever she wants...just do it already. I really am in disbelief that so many people are just ready to hand it over to her and they don't know anything about her political views (in depth)...

I think it is ignorant. There are a lot of people who are undecided on who they will vote for...and are waiting for her to talk...Why would she not do so to inform those people and possibly win their vote??

To me it is obvious. She is uneducated on political issues...there really is no other reason for this. When you run for public office, interviewing and talking with media is all part of the game.

So the press is going to be mean to her???
Didn't she say she hated Hillary's whining?
Didn't she say she was a pitbull with lipstick?
I thought she was a baracuda???
If she is worried about the liberal media bias she could go to Fox.
Ask for the questions in advance so she is prepared for them.
To just say they won't allow her to talk and they won't tell us when she will be allowed to talk. This is starting to remind me of Dan Quayle.
I wonder if she can spell Potato...er...potatoe...er nevermind.
