Investment expert Jim Rogers is no stranger to comments about US investments. He had this to say about America today: "America is more communist than China is right now. You can see that this is welfare of the rich, it is socialism for the rich - it's just bailing out financial institutions. This is madness, this is insanity, they have more than doubled the American national debt in one weekend for a bunch of crooks and incompetents. I'm not quite sure why I or anybody else should be paying for this."

Are we ever going to wake up!

For every one of us that "awakens" to the reality, there are 9 ready to stomp you into the ground just for uttering such blasphemy. Brainwashed and angry, most Americans still seem to believe our country is ruled under the values of the Constitution. Which could not be farther from the truth. The truth is we are rapidly evolving into a communist nation, and that has been the plan for a long time. It is so easy to see for anyone who will really open their eyes. The problem is, far to many are just as happy staying blind. Its easier to bury a problem than to face it head on.

Nobody "won" the Cold War. The Russians just lost already, America's loss is yet to come.

in the article........"In the afternoon another said - John McCain must be pissed today. He was shot down, held captive and tortured because he was fighting communism. Today communism is alive and well in the USA . If I were him I would punch Paulson in the nose until he cries like a little girl."

What you said doesn't make sense. Do you know what communism is? The socioeconomic structure that is set in place to promote an egalitarian society which means it's devoid of classicism, Come on dude. Oh, and it's idiotic Marxist construct that doesn't work.

Perhaps not, but he is a stranger to political theory.

It isn't communism or socialism, it's called political patronage.

Exactly! The Hegelian Dialectic at work.....Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis. This election coming up is nothing more than a vote on which "flavor" we prefer.

all i wanted to do was highlight the direction we're going in!

...and if you believe that russia had a society devoid of "classicism" you obviously never went there when it was communist!
