Americans seem more and more mean-spirited these days.
Is it getting close to the point in which TORTURE becomes a legal punishment for certain crimes? Are we going to start seeing say, 10 lashes for marijuana possession, drawing and quartering instead of lethal injection, and cutting off hands for shoplifting offenses?
It almost seems like all that's preventing this in America is lawsuits.
Why in the world would you come up with such a question?
