Ah... the root of the problem. CNN analysts and UC (known extreme leftist university) are the "experts" here. No wonder this report came out like this.
Get someone on the right to agree with this, and I'll buy it. Until then, they're just moron's who haven't even been outside their own state. I can make my own assessment too, and using Google Earth to support it, draw my own conclusions. Doesn't make it right.
I don't know whether the surge is predominantly responsible for the reduction. It may be a combination of factors to include the surge, the attrition in those overtly committing the crimes, and emmigration.
But any nutcase who believes a report from a publication (obviously left-wing-based) called "The Raw Story" must be an X-Files follower.
The only information that Fox AND CNN state is the truth. One or the other alone is not credible information, to me. Too much spin.
But an entertaining spin nonetheless. Anyone with an IQ below 50 might really believe it, if they were really that gullible.

The difference between "left wing sources" and "right wing sources" is that left wing sources make an effort to uncover the truth, while right wing sources make an effort to conceal the truth.

The difference between "left wing sources" and "right wing sources" is that left wing sources make an effort to skew left, while right wing sources make an effort to skew right.

There's more truth in this statement than anything else said here today. It's not just one thing, it's all things contributing to the decrease in violence. However, political reconciliation has not happened at the level we needed.
